What the map shows
The map colors French territory according to the sale price per m², from green (under €100) to red (over €9,000), with yellow around €1,800. The side panel shows 4,376,532 sales and a median price of €2,603/m², with a breakdown by property type: apartments €3,374, houses €2,143, commercial premises €1,507. A curve shows the change in the median price since July 2021 and a histogram shows its distribution. The highest prices are concentrated in Paris and the Île-de-France region, along the Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts, and in Alpine resorts. The departments of Alsace-Moselle appear in gray because of missing data. The map allows searching by address or cadastral parcel and filtering by property type. Median values mask strong local variations.
